Best 30 of #7PhotoCollection 2024 Part Ⅱ
#7PhotoCollection來到2024下半年，這個攝影企劃已經實行了一年時間，回首2023的第一個半年，以及2024的前六個月，第一個念頭是「時間過得也太快了吧」；一下子竟然就過去了那麼多個月。最大的、可立見的優點是，隨著時間累進，同時累積了許多影像作品。我認為，如果刻意而行，或許還不能捕捉到這些照片，而是多走路、慢慢拍才可成的。
2024下半年拍攝規範為「黑白影像」，剛開始的時候的確是讓我踢到了鐵板，抽掉了顏色讓我不知道該如何下手。許多能透過顏色表達的情緒與情感都被拿掉了；當我只能運用元素形狀與光影時，要怎麼呈現照片的故事性呢？

As #7PhotoCollection enters the second half of 2024, this photography project has officially been running for a year. Looking back on the first half of 2023 and the first six months of 2024, my initial thought is, “Time flies!” Months have passed in the blink of an eye. The most noticeable benefit is the gradual accumulation of a rich collection of images over time. I believe many of these photos couldn’t have been captured deliberately—they were the result of walking more and shooting slowly, letting moments unfold naturally.
The guideline for the second half of 2024 is “black-and-white images.” At first, I really struggled. Removing color left me unsure of how to proceed—many emotions and feelings that are easily conveyed through color were no longer available. With only shapes, light, and shadows to work with, how could I still tell a story through my photos?
During this six-month challenge, I focused particularly on photographing people, as they offer the most direct form of expression. Their body language and facial expressions give life to the images. This phase has been a uniquely challenging and rewarding experience for me.
